"The Last Of Us" franchise is looking at the bigger picture. After dominating the gaming industry most especially the Playstation 4, there is no doubt that they have a huge market perhaps due to its zombie storyline which most people are crazy about (The Walking Dead anyone?). Now, they are hitting the big screen as well as confirmed by the game creator Neil Druckmann.
"It's an adaptation of the story of The Last of Us," he confirmed with IGN. "As far as where we go and how we make it fit into a film, how it takes into account the unique properties of film... We're not sure yet. We're only just scratching the surface."
Confirmation about the movie being made is the only information given by Druckmann but this doesn't stop fans and gamers
to speculate on who would play as Joel and Ellie in the movie.
Meanwhile, "The Last Of Us" game will be receiving DLC add-ons for PS3 within the year as announced by Naughty Dog and as confirmed by the creator. Although no further details have been claimed yet, the developer said that most of the upcoming downloadable content would be dedicated for the multiplayer mode.
The upcoming Last Of Us Remastered for the PS4, however, would have the current DLC add-ons added once the game has been released including the "Left Behind" title.
As reported by Digital Spy, community strategist Arne Meyer claimed that there will definitely not have any for campaign mode as of now.
"We just wanted to say when we released the Remastered version, we know there's a lot of DLC out there, and that we weren't going to stop supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions.
"We do have some DLC planned, it'll be multiplayer focused. We're not ready to talk about the details yet, but throughout the rest of the year we'll have some DLC drops."
