Ventilata l'ipotesi di evitare la concorrenza di Deadpool e Zoolander 2 (e il secondo titolo è più temibile del primo, secondo me). Beh, per quel che mi riguarda potrò dire: "Mamma, per il tuo compleanno (80 candeline saranno per allora) ti porto a vedere un bel film!"
Ho lanciato una ricerca con #GodsOfEgypt nella speranza di pescare pesci più freschi ma non ho trovato molto di più di quello che già abbiamo in mano... Vabbè il film l'han girato, è in post produzione, la musica l'hanno assegnata (e ho letto - ma vi prego di prendere la notizia con beneficio di inventario - che dell'interpretazione se ne farà carico niente meno che Amy Lee la talentuosa lead vocalist degli Evanescence)... Tocca solo aspettare...

La pellicola vede protagonista Gerard Butler nei panni di Set, il dio delle tenebre che usurpa il trono di Egitto provocando nell’imperro il caos più totale. Brenton Thwaites interverrà come Bek, una mortale che si allea conl dio Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) per abbattere Set e ripristinare la pace e la prosperità nella regione. L’uscita al cinema di Gods of Egypt è prevista per il 12 febbraio 2016. Tra i palazzi e le piramidi della Valle del Nilo dominano dunque magia, mostri, dei e follia, che si amalgamano in modo da dar vita a un film d’azione e e avventura, che comunque affonda le radici nelle credenze dell’antico Egitto. La trama mette al centro di tutto la sopravvivenza incerta del genere umano, la cui sorte è nelle mani di un inaspettato eroi.
